This healthy low carb dip is the perfect compliment to any cookout or grilling session this season whether Memorial Day. It's always a great idea to bring some dips or sides that you know you like and are shareable. We love anything that involves avocado, such a versatile fruit. Yep, it is a fruit actually, although based on nutrition profile we consider it more a source of heart healthy fats and fiber.
I appreciate a tasty dip recipe that is minimal prep, doesn't require a bunch of ingredients, and tastes really good. Plus, it includes jalapeno, anything with some peppers and heat is a winner in our house. I like to pair this dip with sliced vegetables - carrot sticks, bell pepper strips, or radish wedges as I enjoy the crunch and its a great way to get more vegetables into my diet. A few other ideas for low carb options to pair with it are Nut Thins or spread it on a Wasa crisp and then layer sliced vegetables on top.
